Stanley Vermett, 78, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away April 30, 2014.
He was formerly of Toledo and Bowling Green, Ohio.
He was born in Toledo on February 28, 1936 to Stanley and Marie (Spence) Vermett. On November 22, 1980, he married Kaye Kline in Bowling Green and she survives.
He worked for Interloke Steel for 12 years, then became a Deputy Sheriff for the Wood County Sheriff's Office, working under three different sheriffs. He retired in 1998 and moved to Texas in 1999.
He also is survived by sons Stanley (Denise) Vermett Jr., Sunnydale, Texas; Tim (Kris) Rood, Deshler, Ohio; Danny (Lisa) Rood, Corona, California; Harold Rood, Rudolph, Ohio; daughters, Ginny Danko, Luna Pier,

Scott A. Carpenter

Scott A. Carpenter, age 38, of Rudolph, Ohio, died unexpectedly in his home Tuesday May 13, 2014.
He was born June 28, 1975 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Danny Carpenter Sr. and Rose (Wallace) O'Neal.
Scott worked as an automobile mechanic. He loved riding dirt bikes and motorcycle riding with his brother, Danny Jr. He also enjoyed time spent fishing with his kids.
Scott is survived by his parents, Danny Sr. and Rose O'Neal; stepfather, Robert O'Neal; children, Brittany, Madison and Jacob Carpenter; sister, Joyce (Ken) Schoenitz; brother, Danny, Jr. (Deadra) Carpenter; stepsisters, Emily and Michelle; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Scott was preceded in death by his infant brother, Jessie Thomas Carpenter.

E-James-lindsay-obitLAKELAND, Fla. - E. James "Jim" Lindsay, 83, died peacefully Thursday, May 8, 2014 at home with Hospice due to complications of cancer.
Born Ellsworth James Lindsay September 16, 1930, the only child of Clare and Addah B. Lindsay in Hillsdale, Michigan.
Jim attended Hall of the Devine Child before attending High School in Hillsdale. After high school, he served one year in the US Army before attending Bowling Green State University where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity on a 4-year athletic scholarship for basketball.
While attending BGSU he met his wife of almost 52 years, the late Patricia Jane Kober Lindsay. They were married in August 1953 and made Bowling Green, Ohio their home.
Jim enjoyed college athletics and often was a local radio commentator for High School football and baseball games. Jim coached little league and was a 50-year member of the Masons in Hillsdale.

Willo Loe, of North Baltimore, Ohio, and formerly of Bowling Green, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014.
She was born in Tennessee to Andrew and Mettie (Milan) James. She married Delloyd Loe and they later divorced. She then married Duke Hutcheson and they later divorced.
Willo worked on the family farm, worked at various nursing homes and was a previous bar owner.
She was a member of the North Baltimore Eagles Lodge #2633.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Belinda) of North Baltimore, Michael (Carol) of Rhode Island, daughter, Kay Ann Caterina of Coco Beach, Florida, grandchildren, Jeremy, Holly and Brian, great-grandchildren, Mackenzi and Sawyer.

Obituary-Photo-HartleyProfessor Emeritus Dr. Ronald V. Hartley, 75, of Bowling Green, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014 after a four-year valiant fight with melanoma.
Dr. Hartley was born in McArthur, Ohio to the late Clarence and Edna (Brown) Hartley. Dr. Hartley married Judy Musselman of Danvers, Illinois on June 20, 1965 in the Disciples of Christ Church in Champaign, Illinois and she survives in Bowling Green.
Also surviving are his children: Karen (Jim) Adams of Perrysburg and Daryl (Kristi) Hartley of Arnold, Maryland; grandchildren: Mariah, Carter, Andrew, David and Matthew; and a sister: Barbara (James) Klekner of Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Dr. Hartley completed his undergraduate work and received his Bachelor's of Science in Accounting from Ohio University. He attended the University of Illinois where he received his Masters in Accounting Science and PhD in Accountancy with a minor in Quantitative Economics.

She was born on July 25, 1933, in Portland, TN, to the late Duncan and Emma (Geminden) Cummings. She married Rev. Charles Lieser on November 16, 1959, and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1994.
Rebecca is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Bob) Garcia of Seven Hills, OH and Anita (Richard) Roberts of Wapakoneta, OH; her son, Carl Lieser of Toledo; her grandchildren, Katie, Joe, Dan, Kathy, Rachel, Robby and Rebekah.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Cummings; and her sister, Mary Britt.
Rebecca was a homemaker and a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Baltimore.

Florence Blausey "Flo," 79, previously of Pemberville, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.
She was born on January 7, 1935 in Galion, OH to John and Beatrice (Gahn) Siek . In 1953 she married Billy Blausey at the Church of Christ in Gibsonburg.
Florence enjoyed American Indian culture, cats and gardening (especially her roses).
She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Pemberville.
Surviving are children, Mark (Linda) Blausey of McComb, OH and Yvonne (Guy) Credit of Tiffin; grandchildren, Angela, Kristi, Brittany and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Thomas and Ulysses Frederick; and siblings, Donald Siek, Billy Siek and Faye Trubia.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Edward Siek.

Albert E. "Gene" Benard

BenardAlbertobitAlbert E. "Gene" Benard, 87, of Findlay and formerly of North Baltimore, died at 8:55 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2014, in Findlay. He was born on August 18, 1926, in Van Buren to the late Lester A. and Pearl Marie (Nelson) Benard. He graduated from North Baltimore High School in 1944 and received his draft notice on his 18th birthday. He was proud to be a member of the "8th and 40", 40 men in the 8th Armored Division active in France, Germany, and the Battle of the Bulge. Upon discharge he married Leona Mae Bobb on March 28, 1948, and she survives.
He began work at San-A-Pur Dairy delivering milk with a horse drawn wagon. In 1954, Gene and Leona became proprietors of Benard's Floor Covering in North Baltimore. Gene had a reputation for doing exacting work. He became a postal employee in 1960. During this time he remodeled numerous homes in North Baltimore, including moving one of them down the street and building a family home.

She was born on September 12, 1953, to the late George and Dorcas (Hendricks) Dunn, III in Bowling Green, OH. On July 21, 1978, she married Joseph L. Tebbe and he survives.
She is survived by her daughter, Emily J. Tebbe of Asheville, NC; her twin sons: William J. Tebbe of Louisville, KY and Jonathon L. Tebbe of Boulder, CO; her two sisters: Marcia K. (David) Houdeshell of rural Arlington and Valerie L. (Daniel) Sanders of Toledo; as well as her many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Her family was essential to her.
Denise graduated from Findlay High School in 1971 and Bowling Green State University in 1975. For 35 years, she influenced and shaped countless lives at Arlington School as a first grade teacher.

George Louis Lembke, 84, of Westerville, Tuesday May 20, 2014.
Son of George John and Elizabeth Artimese (Burgess) he was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 26,1929. Growing up on a farm near Bowling Green, he graduated from Webster School and farmed until he began college at age 29.
Graduating from Toledo University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, George worked for North American Aviation/Rockwell, Columbus .and was a Master Mason of Pemberville Masonic Lodge 516. He could fix anything and enjoyed restoring vehicles including antique tractors and sports cars, and was a member of the Central Ohio Jaguar Club.

John was born on April 2, 1944 to Henry and Amelia (Gineman) Brell.
He grew up on the family farm and enjoyed working with his family. John loved working in his yard, gardening, and visiting with friends and family. He had a special love for animals, owning many cats over the years. He will be missed by all who knew him.
John is survived by his sisters, Rosemary (Vernon) Phillips of Genoa, Ohio, and Judy (Moe) Hines of Bloomdale, Ohio; and his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Elizabeth Bishop.
Friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, May 27th from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home in Napoleon.

She was born August 17, 1981 in Defiance, Ohio to Everett and Cynthia (Semler) Cowles.
Nicole worked as a buyer for Sims Metal Management Toledo, Ohio, and formerly worked for Cox Cable.
She was a graduate of Bowling Green High School in 1999, BGSU in 2003 and attended Hawaii Pacific University. She was also a National Gymnast.
Nicole is survived by her parents, of Bowling Green, and her paternal grandmother, Mary Cowles of Bowling Green.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the DUNN FUNERAL HOME, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 W. Wooster St. Rev. Tom Mellott will officiate.
